Course 1 (Legal, License Law, & Regulation Updates)

Topics include Questions and Answers from the State Real Estate

Commission on license law and regulations including home offices,

internet and team advertising, agency issues, assistants, duties of

licensees, sales commissions and fees, leasing, property management

disclosure requirements, Qualified Associations for licensees, and

Amended Consumer Notice along with pertinent legal and regulation

updates including some current legal issues.

Course 2 (Doing It Right)

Topics include ethical considerations and issues, conflict of interest and

avoiding it, avoiding liability exposure, duties of disclosure, duties of

buyer agency & dual agency, environmental & fair housing issues, site

& property description, & State disciplinary action along with tax

assessment updates, private road takings in Pennsylvania and latest

legal issues involving murder-suicide disclosure, FIRPTA, and dating

of an agreement of sale.

We have submitted our 2012 school renewal and course approval applications and have confirmed my course dates as below-listed. We have scheduled them to hopefully avoid any bad weather and well in advance of the May 31, 2012 renewal deadline.

These two new 7-hour continuing education courses are very timely and will be beneficial to all licensees including brokers, salespersons, property managers, and rental agents and will be offered at only one location.
